Philanthropy

KWN supports community organizations that benefit women and children in Kenosha County and beyond.  In 2009, KWN distributed $3500 to assist three member-sponsored organizations through our grant program.  In 2010, $7000 was distributed in Mini-Grants.

We co-sponsor the Susan B. Anthony Award Dinner to recognize and honor a Kenosha County woman who works toward and promotes the goal of equality for women. 

The proceeds of the SBA Dinner benefit a scholarship fund for women returning to school for a baccalaureate degree and also organizations that provide support to women and children through a grant program. 

The Susan B. Anthony Award dinner is held yearly to honor an extraordinary woman.  This year's recipient was Patricia Johnson an Education Administrator and community activist.
